A Keystone Scholarship
Keystone Study Awards offer the most premium and supportive scholarships available to students wanting to study and work in the property and construction sector. They not only provide financial assistance, but also offer mentoring, work experience, and the support of a team of people who are invested in the student’s well-being.
For 2019 we will be offering TEN Study Award Scholarships to students entering their first year of tertiary study. This is a $5,000 per year scholarship for high school leavers to fund their studies in the property and construction sector. Any qualifications that will bring students into the sector are included.
Applications for 2019 close 24th of August, 2018.

New sections to be published
We are in the final stages of readying new sections for publication – this will include ‘how to write good personal statements’ and how to answer the regular ‘why do you want this scholarship?’ question and guidance for writing the other questions such as ‘tell us about yourself’.

University Scholarships for Year 13 Students
MoneyHub, a consumer finance website, has published a guide to hundreds of scholarships for any student planning to start university in 2019. The comprehensive list includes scholarships offered by every university as well as those specifically available to local students. A list of privately-funded, Maori, Pacific and International university scholarships completes the list. Applications close throughout the year, with tens of millions of dollars available. The scholarship page is free to use and always will be. Unlike GivMe, students can access the information at home and on their mobiles etc. We have a published a number of tips for application success as well, designed to make the application process less stressful for your students.

As per last year, CoCA is again running the Massey University Creative Arts International Excellence Scholarships, with the value of $20,000 over a four-year degree and $15,000 over a three-year degree.
Attached is the application form. This year there is a priority deadline for 1 October for guaranteed accommodation and 1 December for Semester 1 2019 start and 1 May for Semester 2 2019 start.

Māori student science scholarship opportunity for Year 13 – University of Otago.
The University of Otago, Māori Health Workforce Development Unit is pleased to inform students that applications for the Otago REACH (Realising Educational Aspirations for Careers in Health) scholarship are now open. This scholarship is for Year 13 Māori secondary students interested in a career in health and is hosted by the University of Otago. The Scholarship covers; flights, accommodation, food and activities over 3 days.

Available 24/7 on any device, MoneyHub presents scholarships by university, region, company and ethnicity. The page proved a hit in initial trials and is now being introduced to schools across the country.
